i am boycotting frasier! how sad. it was a very conveniently timed show, and funny. the reason is it has gone all post-modern philosophy. there was this episode were frasier was taking a stand not to lie in court and in the end his dad beat him down saying "morals are set by you" and gave this example when he lied and "there was not a doubt in my mind that i did the right thing." ok even though i lie all the time and make my excuses for it i know it is WRONG to lie, not because i think so but because all morals were set by a rule-maker, and that is God. it is utter rubbish when people say "you draw your own lines" because that is what you do when you try to escape responsibility. you are just boxing yourself away from reality, postmodernism! i wonder if i should have the guts to lie for my parents if they had to go to court. (or tell the truth, should it result in my parents in jail and stuff.)
