God for always providing!

as usual, i am awake at this horrible hour pottering aboot doing nothing. ive taken to reading the Tales from King Arthur which are really good. in my edition it has some off footnotes- it sais "these ancient stories were translated by french and other foriegn writers, and Christian beliefs and chivalrous customs were added in the french romances etc.etc. " it also says they were invented by the "heathen Welsh" which i find most intriguing - i just looked up "heathen" in my dictionary because although ive heard it before i never knew what it meant. it means : 1. pagan 2. lacking culture 3. having no religion 4. unenlightened. i must say, for all the goodly tales of King Arthur the christian beliefs are really unsual (i mean, the holy grail quest and calling people "false christian men") so i have decided while it is quite enjoyable to read, i am ranking it below King James Version Holy Bible and also Tolkiens Lord of the Rings.

my hero of today is the optometrist man. he has prescribed me with one-month contacts that i can wear to sleep-HOORAY! it is a very nice change from wearing glasses in the shower, it will also make my mission trip to the sticks much more bearable- cheers optometrist man.
