I tell you, being an only child is the most boring thing ever. seriously i am so lonely at home without my brother and sister and i was soooooo excited today when my sister called. WHATS YOUR SECRET ONLY CHILDREN? perhaps if i was an only child i would be an expert at the piano by now. this is very sad. when i am married i shall try to have at least 5 kids. Be fruitful and multiply~!
this is a terrible age in the western "civilisation" or "developed countries" where it has become common for people not to marry at all, to marry and divorce, not to have any kids or have only one or two. actually in australia the numbers of the people living here are maintained by immigration, not by production, since by production we are decreasing, and that is similar to all other western countries. i am not against having money, or even christians having lots of money but having lots of money MAY mean serious devotion and lots of effort to maintain the continued flow of money, which is a deadly trap and lots of Christians fall there. i have come to realise that as lucky as the commonwealth and other western countries are in their abundance we are a dying breed anyway! if more wealth and development means the pursuit of success/work/money becomes fundamental living, then history is fading away. blood and sweat into money! in contrast, the lesser developed countries such as china or africa are still having about 4~6 kids per marriage. even in small scale my family is considered big in sydney that we have three kids and two parents but in the mountains everyone has more brothers and sisters than me!
i am scared to have only one kid: what if they get hit by a bus, then i will be no better off than to have been in a gay marriage and produce no kids! i better have at least 3 or four in reserve in case one dies. that is a funny thing that the more kids you have, the more love you can give! so much for my high-school dreams to be a CEO and have lots of money. CEO's don't have enough time for children.
