well!! i am back from camp, which was EXCELENT,.. i have my proof right in front of me. it is my nameplate and has my picture and everyone wrote on it until there was no space. it also has my lipmark, i was a runner up in our cnb "Best Lips" competition which i organised and hence received that "she's been practising!" remark. (incidently hyeon jung onnie was the winner) MY GOODNESS. the faces and refusals i recieved from the guys at cnb who didnt want to put lipstick on!!!! i had even forceful arms gripping my hands as they contemplated putting lipstick on in front of the whole cnb (me pleading : "please..everyone else has done it.. you only have to put it on for a second while you kiss your paper.. you can wash it off in a second.." etc.) but luckily, everyone ended up putting it on. even though the poor lipstick brokedown in the end.
i think multiple and consistent prayer was extraodinarily effective this camp and many great things happened, to Gods power and glory which was very helpful indeed. mango, was just so funny. holding your hands out and telling the whole cnb to your secret saint "i'll kill you" but then changing your mind once they gave you a present. ho ho ho

one thing i most definetly learnt was that it is a terrible double-standard to pray so hard for the speakers at the camp, that they might speak biblically correct doctrine, empowered by the Holy Spirit to speak clearly and effectively etc etc. but then to turn around and go to church on sunday, sit in the pew, kick back and listen half-heartedly. Phil Simmonds was excellent on sunday!! I will surely pray hard now before the Message is preached on Sundays. After all, we always get good speakers all the time to our english service who travel to worldwide conferences to speak at places just like our camp. Bruce Dipple is one of those people....... thats it, i shall have to put some more effort into preparation for sunday services.
