its march!!! i started class today and my monday morning teacher is very strict and has very high standards. i shall also have to take alot of initiative this year.
i have got the best new bible ever. it is just the best although i went to great pains not to buy a zondervan bible, it is well worth it. thanks God!!! my mum told me not to give this one away. well i shall try but you know, if someone really needs it.
our doctrinal studies group went to hurstville for seafood to celebrate the end of our studies. it was the blueprint by tony payne and phillip jensen, who are great writers and i really encourage everyone to read anything written by them. THOUGH! i must disagree with the chapter 5 about the only way to teach the gospel. about christians who have strayed theologically and hence are openly preaching a different gospel mr.payne and dr.jensen have grouped into strands : the liberals, the ritualists (ie catholics), and the experientialists (aka charismatics).
actually i think there are not many saved in the liberals and the ritualists but they are being too hard on the charismatics. not all of them say things like "you must speak in tongues to be christian" or strictly emphasise the Holy Spirit. I think lots of charismatics are good christians.
i've got to go and do my homework!! how sad. on the first day back too.
